Confessed Iran-Contra Figure Lands Sensitive Pentagon Post

To Whom It SHOULD Concern:
And
LA Times, Jamie Gold, Readers Representative: readers.rep@latimes.com
LA Times reporter P.J. Huffstutter & C-Span events@c-span.org

Subject: John Hendren’s article in Times July 10, 05, titled:
Confessed Iran-Contra Figure Lands Sensitive Pentagon Post

I would like to have the CA U.S. Congresswoman Maxine Waters give her opinion on Hendren’s article because Maxine Waters wrote the foreword for Gary Webb’s book: “Dark Alliance: The CIA, The Contras, and the Crack Cocaine Explosion”. Webb a Pulitzer Prize winner, and LA Times reporter had supposedly committed suicide in December of 2004.

I would also like to read the opinion of Senator John Kerry who was a major investigator of the CIA and the Iran-Contra Figures. Senator John Kerry is mentioned on at least 12 different pages of Gary Webb’s book.

I would also like to know the opinion of Senators Joe Biden, Nancy Kassebaum and Richard Lugar, all mentioned on page 279 of Gary Webb’s book.

Reporter John Hendrens article also contains names that appear in Gary Webb’s book.
Example:
Lt. Col. Oliver L. North (58 pages of North being a major corruptor of Justice)

Elliott Abrams, Hired Mr. Rob Owen who dealt with bombers and assassins as testified by CIA station chief Fernandez in 1987 (Page 231)

John M. Poindexter, Was Presidents Reagan’s National Security Adviser and was giving assistance in obstruction of justice in the covering-up of the murder of Dr. Spadafora (Page 227)

Lawrence E. Walsh, Walsh was more then just a person from an independent counsel giving a report to Congress as LA Times reporter John Hendren reports. Lawrence E. Walsh was the Iran-Contra Special Prosecutor. (See Page 228 and 24 other pages)

The point of this letter is to show readers that once again the LA Times tries to down play the Iran–Contra Figures even though those figures may cause justification for causing a war with Iran.
